Book Reviews

Hopefully you like my last post on books. They had some pretty good ones on there. So I decided to do another one.

THE GIRL WHO KNEW TOO MUCH

The girl who knew too much is a book written by Vikrant Khanna in the first-person perspective of Harry, telling the story of his life to a young girl who just lost her mother. This is a story about love, loss and humour with Harry's constant antics. It is a romance with a slight twist, which acts like the perfect seasoning to this awesome book.

I got it for my birthday from my friend and I absolutely loved it. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys a funny but deep tale.

WHO STOLE THE WIZARD OF OZ?

Who stole the wizard of Oz? Pulling title huh? Written by Ave, it is about Twins who set on a mission to find a thief who stole a few prized books from a library when one of them is blamed for it. Full of twists, turns, wits and action, it was the kinda book I read under a blanket with a flashlight.

With a seasoning of humour and sibling-relationships, this book is perfect for a mystery-lover.

FLUFFY AND ME

Fluffy and Me is one of my absolute faves! Written by Anita Krishan, it has sort of a autobiographical feel. Centred around her late dog, Fluffy from the moment she got her to the moment he left, it is a nostalgic and heartwarming story that sent me to tears. The kind of stuff that miniscule pup can do!

This is an awesome read to anyone who enjoys down-to-earth, homey novels.

THE BOOK THIEF

The book thief is a very popular book written by Markus Zusak, about an orphaned girl named Leisel navigating through life during the times of Hitler and WW2. Filled with characters you can never forget, adventures that hit so close to home and an ending that I warn you send me sobbing into my pillow. This story is narrated by Death. And when Death tells something, all must listen.

If you won't hate me for making you cry so much, I perfectly recommend this book to you!

That's it for this post. Check my other review blog if you haven't already. I have a list of my favourite books by my profile, so check that out. Hope you enjoy these books. XOXO
