A Book Fair

I like to call myself something of a bookworm. I have read many books, and I absolutely love them! So I would like to present some of my top faves to you! Here are a top few books I think you might love! Also, see the Books I Like in the sidebar for more great reads.

AGATHA ODDLY

Agatha Oddly by Lena Jones is a three-book series about a child detective. The child detective in question has always been an investigator, but she was still looking for a big case. And in the first book- yep, you guessed it- she gets one. And this one has the whole of London at stake! All I can say is this book is amazing to whoever likes mystery novels and humour.

THE THOUSAND-YEAR-OLD BOY

The Thousand Year-Old Boy by Ross Welford is a story about two boys - Alve and Aidan. Alve lived a thousand years and the two boys and a girl named Roxy went on a quest to make Alve a regular boy again. It has a mix of tragedy, humour and frustration which adds to the relatability of the storyline. Ross Welford did a fantastic job on this book and it is truly amazing.

THE GIRL WHO DRANK THE MOON

The Girl Who Drank The Moon is a heart-wrenching fantasy by Kelly Barnhill. I can't tell you how much I cried reading this book, over and over again. It has a sort of Dark Suspense and humour and narrates the life of an enmagicked baby named Luna and how she came to discover her powers while unravelling everything her Grandmama Xan had kept from her. This book is awesome to anyone who likes a good bitter-sweet, and soul-stirring story.

DAUGHTER

Daughter is a book written by child author Mila Heavens. It narrates the story of a beggar girl, Kamala finding a home in Bombay in the year 1931. It is a heartfelt short story of freedom and family and about following one's heart. All in all, it is a beautiful read. Her book is sold at Bribooks.com

A LITTLE PRINCESS

A Little Princess is the eternal and ambitious tale of Frances Hodgson Burnett. The tale revolves around a girl Sara Crewe, born into riches and wealth until the tragic death of her father when she was eleven. The school in which she is put in treats her horribly and she has only her wild and beautiful imagination to keep her warm during cold and hungry nights. This book hits right where you need it and teaches us that you don't have to be rich to be a princess.

These were just a few of my recommendations to anyone who might like them. You can see more in my "Books I like" List near my profile. That's it for this post.
